WJWC denounces judgment against activist, threats against journalists
Women Journalists Without Chains (WJWC) condemns a judgment issued by the Press and Prints Court in Sana'a against the activist and writer Abdul-Rahman Ma'awdhah.
Ma'awdhah was sentenced to six months in prison and paying YR200,000 as a fine because he expressed his opinions.
WJWC also denounces the threats against the journalist Bassam al-Qadhi. Al-Qadhi was threatened with physical elimination. He received a call from the phone number 738327502 on Monday, December 16 in Aden governorate.
WJWC denies the threats against the journalists and cameraman Sameer al-Namiri who was threatened with physical elimination by unidentified man who sent him a threat message from a cell phone.
Al-Nimiri affirmed that he was threatened by the phone number: 714639145 .
