Ar WJWC denounces government's ignorance of Yemeni fishermen' tragedies
Women Journalists Without Chains (WJWC) condemns the Yemeni government's ignorance of the case of Yemeni fishermen by Eretria for several months.
The Popular Tihamah Organization stated that 1130 fishing boats were seized and confiscated and that 570 fishermen are detained in Eritrean jails.
It further said that they are subjected to torture, abuses and hard works. It made clear that some fishermen were killed and that the government has not taken any actions so far.
WJWC appeals to President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi and the interim government to contact Eretria to immediately release the detainees and solve their case.
