Ar Women Journalists Without Chains (WJWC) denounces the assault on the well-known journalist Arif al-Sirmi by unidentified gunmen last Thursday. His right hand was fractured and he also suffered from bruises at different areas of his body and was taken to hospital.
While expresses deep sorrow over this incident, it demands the interim government to protect journalists who are subjected to continuing attacks.
