Ar Women Journalists Without Chains (WJWC) condemns the attack on the cameramen of the European Agency Yahya Arhab, and the Anadolu Agency Ali Owaidha while taking photos of motorcyclists protesting in the area of Aser of Sana'a City on Saturday, November 30.
Yahya Arhab was subjected to beatings by two soldiers and his camera was taken. Then, it was given back to him later.
Ali Owaidah was asked by soldiers to delete the photos from the camera.
WJWC strongly denounces mistreatments practiced by riot forces against journalists , preventing them from performing their tasks and transmitting facts to people.
WJWC stresses that the current government ignores the violations committed against journalists and hindering their performance.
