Ar Women Journalists Without Chains (WJWC) condemns the attack on Editor-in-Chief of the independent al-Haweyah newspaper Mohammed Ali al-Emad as bomb car, which was planted at his car, exploded.
While WJWC decries the incident, it demands the Interior Ministry and the relevant authorities to immediately probe into the incident, identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
It considers the target of al-Emad a serious indication of growing infringements committed against journalists.
It also calls all civil society organizations and political parties to condemn this incident.
