A member of the Yemeni Journalists Syndicate YJS has been assaulted by a guard working for a senior official in the Marib province’s traffic department after he had been threatened by the same person who also confiscated some of his personal belongings.
In a statement issued recently, the Yemeni Journalists Syndicate expressed solidarity with the assaulted colleague Jalal al-Muhaya, calling on the security authorities in the province to urgently investigate into the accident and refer abusers to the public prosecution as well as give back the confiscated things.
