A checkpoint of Aden’s Security Belt on Sunday morning intercepted a bus owned by “The Daily News” newspaper, assaulted on the chew aboard who were on their way to distribute Sunday’s edition, and held them for hours while their bus and large number of copies were confiscated, according to Yemeni Journalists Syndicate (YJS).
In a statement issued recently, the YJS has condemned the incident, urging the security authorities in the southern port city of Aden to immediately take necessary measures, catch the culprits and refer them to the public prosecution as well as return what has been confiscated.
