WJWC expresses solidarity with Saudi girl

Women Journalists Without Chains (WJWC) expresses solidarity with a Saudi girl, Huda AalNiran, which is prosecuted in Yemen on charges of entering Yemen soils illegally, pointing out that AalNiran entered Yemen to seek humanitarian asylum which is guaranteed by laws.

WJWC voices sorrow over prosecuting a person who is a refugee and decries the stances of the Immigration and Passport Authority, and the Interior Ministry which refused to allow AalNirn to meet representatives of the Human Rights Ministry and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to apply for a humanitarian asylum, though the court agreed to that.
