Ar Women Journalists Without Chains (WJC) expresses its solidarity with revolution activists held in the Central Prison in Sana’a City.
The detention is a lawless act and a violation against all human rights conventions and treaties particularly as the activists were enforcedly disappeared, then detained in the Central Prison for two years without trial.
WJWC praises stances of the activists who marched sit-ins in front of the Central Prison in solidarity with the detainees, calling to swiftly respond to the directions of President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi who called for immediate release of the detainees.
WJWC holds the Attorney-General responsible for the safety of detainees whose medical conditions have badly deteriorated.
