WJWC decries Houthi systemic violence against protesters

Women Journalists Without Chains (WJWC) condemns violence, detentions and abductions practiced by Houthi militias against peaceful protesters on a daily basis.

WJWC denounces the attack on protesters and detention of Aljazeera TV channel Abdul-Azeez al-Sabri by Houthi militias.

Al-Sabri was detained while covering a protest staged by Sana'a University students in Sana'a City. 

It also condemns the shooting by Houthi militias on hundreds of protesters who protested the Houthi siege imposed on resigned ministers in Sana'a City.

WJWC plus denounces the continuing siege on the house of President AbdRabu Mansour Hadi, Prime Minister and members of the resigned cabinet, as well as the imposition of the house arrest on them. 

WJWC highly appreciates the struggle of Sana'a University students and youth activists who protest against the Houthi militias and demand to put an end to the coup.
