WJWC condemns threats against activist

Women Journalists Without Chains (WJWC) condemns the threats made against the activist Nura Ahmed. Nura was insulted and threatened inside a dialogue tenet in the city of Dhamar on Friday 02, 2013. She was threatened during an event organized by Sayan Organization.

Nura was threatened and insulted after she criticized the dialogue tenet and the ways of its performance. She said that the tenet turned into a place for chewing Qat and that its activities contradicted the objectives of its creation.
The microphone was taken from her hands, and then she received calls of threats.
WJWC condemns the threats against Nura, warning against causing any harms to her and pointing out that WJWC denies such acts that repress freedoms.
