WJWC condemns suspicious measures against journalists

Women Journalists Without Chains (WJWC) condemns suspicious measures and investigations made by gunmen against Editor-in-Chief of Almasdar newspaper Sameer Jubran.

WJWC also denounces banning Abdul-Azeez Salah from entering into his job institution, Aden TV and radio, by the guards of the institution on October 22, 2014. He was barred from the entering due to his disagreement with chairman of the institution.
The gunmen came on a black vehicle without a license plate and looked for Jubran and his house on October 21. These behaviors raised fears about the life of Jubran.
The correspondent of the Chinese Xinhua Agency Faris al-Hemyari told WJWC that gunmen on a vehicle which had no a license plate came to his neighborhood looking for him on October 22,2014.
It also decries insults and threats made against Ammar Mohammed Marza, a news editor at Saba TV, by Houthi militias.
