Ar Women Journalists Without Chains (WJWC) denounces the attack on the journalist Mujahid al-Qub, the reporter of Yamanant news website in al-Hudeidah when he was covering a protest arranged by the Tihami Movement in front of the Military Police Leadership.
Soldiers of the Military Police beat him with rifles' butts and batons. He was wounded with fractures and bruises at different parts of his body. Then, he was seized at a cell inside a camp and released two days later.
WJWC denounces this flagrant attack, demands to immediately investigate into the incident and put an end to violations made by security forces against journalists when performing their missions.
