The Yemeni Journalists Syndicate (YJS) has stated that it received a report from the reporter of Alsharq Alawsat newspaper Arafat Mudabish in which he said an incitement campaign was made against him by an individual( who the syndicate reserves his name).
In a statement, YJS said that the individual directly incited the current de facto authorities against Mudabish due to his journalism work. This individual published an article which included clear incitement against Mudhabish, YJS added.
YJS condemned this irresponsible incitement which puts the life of Mudabish in jeopardy, holding this person responsible for any harms which may be committed against Mudabish.
It also called to avoid the involvement of journalists in political conflicts, and end incitement and spread of hatred against journalists and media outlets.
YJS called media outlets officials to not use these outlets as platforms for incitement against their colleagues due to the differences of opinions or trends.
