Almasdaronline – Abductees’ Mothers on Thursday held a protest in front of the political security headquarters in Yemen’s militia-held capital Sanaa to demand the release of their kidnapped sons.
In a press release issued recently, the Association stated that the Houthi militia trumped up criminal charges against the abductees tortured dozens of them to death with no moral scruples or fear of the law.
Hundreds of those either who had been kidnapped or had been forcibly disappeared have been imprisoned for two years in some cases in the political security prison without knowing the reasons, the statement explained.
The association asserted that the abductees are civilians taken from homes and work places to put in in jails without any legal charges warranting their detention.
