Militias of Houthis and ousted president, Ali Saleh, Monday morning, abducted the colleague Taiseer Assamiee in Dimnat Khadir district located in southeast city of Taiz in central Yemen.
According to informed sources, militants belonging to the Houthi militia and ousted president Saleh kidnapped Assamiee while he was passing through a checkpoint In Dimnat Khadir and took him to a prison under their control.
The militias have recently intensified abduction campaigns targeting the residents of the area after blocking the road to Dimnat Khadir Al Misrakh, south of Taiz, the source emphasized.
Taiseer Assamiee’s abduction came just two months after his younger brother was shot dead by a Houthi sniper while herding sheep on his farm in Sami’e directorate.
